Magical realism is a rich and fascinating literary tradition. This two-hour workshop examines the genre and its artistic style, and explores how to weave fantastical, supernatural or mythical elements into your realistic everyday settings.
In this interactive and informative two-hour workshop, you’ll learn a little about the history and tradition of magical realism and work through some exercises exploring how you can weave the fantastical and surreal into stories of the everyday. Suitable for all level of writers, all you need is a notebook, a pen and an fully functioning imagination.
